High Representative and Vice President Federica Mogherini travels to Lausanne to join the ongoing talks on the Iranian nuclear issue

Reports of negotiations in Lausanne in late March 2015 on Iran's nuclear programme between foreign ministers from the so-called P5+1 - comprising the US, UK, France, China, Russia and Germany - and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini was also present. The deadline for the negotiations had been fixed for 31 March 2015.
