Press Release: Tax: MEPs advocate country-by-country reporting to help developing countries

The European Parliament approved on 08 July 2015 a non-binding resolution calling for member states to make multinationals report their financial performance, tax details, assets and employee numbers country by country, so as to help fight tax evasion and illicit money flows in developing countries

It also requested the European Union's financial institutions to ensure that companies receiving EU support do not participate in tax evasion and avoidance.
