The European Parliament approved in plenary on 8 October 2015 four resolutions regarding human rights and conflicts across the globe, as it follows: + MEPs urged Saudi Arabia to halth the execution of Ali Mohammed al-Nimr and called for a moratorium on the death penalty; + MEPs demanded measures to starve Boko Haram in Nigeria of its sources of illegal income; + MEPs expressed fears of civil war in Central African Republic (CAR); + MEPs deplored human rights abuses in Thailand following the military coup in May 2014. |
