The European Court of Justice annulled on 16 December 2015 the decision by which the European Commission had imposed fines amounting to approximately €790 million on several airlines for their participation in a cartel on the air freight market.

According to the Court's decision, the grounds and the operative part of the Commission's decision are contradictory.
