EU agencies faulted for not protecting whistleblowers

James Panichi in Politico wrote that EU institutions and agencies faced increasing criticism for failing to protect whistleblowers as a number of recent court decisions and new documents showed officials who reported illegal or unethical behavior could be targeted for retaliation.
