Speech: TTIP: What consumers have to gain

EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström spoke on 26 January 2016 at a public forum organised by the Transatlantic Consumer Dialogue (TACD).

She outlined the benefits for consumers of an ambitious Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, highlighting in particular more choice of high quality goods and services, good jobs, higher quality regulation and better cooperation with the US to ensure that the goods consumers buy are produced in sustainable ways.
