Press Release: European Commission appoints Director-General to the Regulatory Scrutiny Board and strengthens senior management across five departments

On 2nd March 2016, the European Commission appointed Ms Anne Bucher as Director-General of its Regulatory Scrutiny Board – a vital function that assures the quality and relevance of all new legislative proposals.

The European Commission also appointed five Deputy Directors-General to its departments for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI); Competition (DG COMP); Environment (DG ENV); Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) and Trade (DG TRADE).
