The EU Justice Scoreboard develops a comprehensive overview of the functioning of national justice systems. In this fourth edition of the Scoreboard, more Member States participated in the collection of data; new quality indicators were introduced; indicators on independence were enriched; and a deeper insight into certain areas is provided.

The European Commission adopted this Communication on 11 April 2016.
