Eurogroup meeting, Brussels, 24 May 2016

A meeting of the Eurogroup was held in Brussels on 24 May 2016. The agenda included the following items:

+ Exchange of views on the economic situation and the outlook in the euro area, following the European Commission's presentation of its Spring 2016 economic forecast;

+ Presentation of the outcomes of the 5th post-programme surveillance mission to Spain, which were welcomed by the Eurogroup;

+ Information on the implementation of Greece's ESM economic adjustment programme, particularly on the issues related to the first review;

+ Report by the Eurogroup Working Group on the progress of its discussions on the sustainability of Greece's public debt, in line with the guiding principles and a sequenced approach for possible additional debt-related measures agreed by the Eurogroup on 9 May 2016.
