Foreign Affairs Council, 10 February 2014

A meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council was held on 10 February 2014. The agenda includes the following topics:

+ Adoption of conclusions regarding the situation in Ukraine, in particular the referendum in Crimea and the introduction of additional sanctions against the country's territorial integrity;

+ Briefing on a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina undertaken by the EU's High Representative for Foreign Policy;

+ Update on the Middle East Peace process;

+ Adoption of negotiating directives for a bilateral Political Dialogue and Co-operation Agreement with Cuba;

+ Other topics: EU Strategy on the Gulf of Guinea; implementation of the EU Strategy for Security and Development in the Sahel; the West Africa Development Programme; the crisis in South Sudan; the situation in the Central African Republic; the situation in Iraq; the situation in Yemen; the situation in Tunisia; the situation in Egypt; the EU's priorities at the UN's Human Rights Fora.
