Brexit – Theory and Empirics

This article begins by presenting the theoretical arguments
related to how a referendum on whether or not
to leave the European Union should have taken place,
and goes on to provide an empirical analysis of the actual
Brexit vote of June 2016 and a summary of the swiftly growing
body of literature on this topic.
