Informal meetings of EU Foreign and Defence Ministers met in Gymnich format in Tallinn on the 6-8 September 2017 to discuss foreign and security issues facing the EU. The EEAS stated on the 8 September 2017 following the meetings that a broad consensus by all EU Member States on the modalities for launching Permanent Structured Cooperation in the field of defence could lead to a legal decision as early as December 2017, with some 30 projects for concrete cooperation between countries already on the table. |
