Further information: The EU also decided not to extend the asset freezes against 2 persons. The measures were initially introduced in March 2014 and extended on a yearly basis since then. The European Union decided on 5 March 2018 to extend for a further year the asset freezes against 13 persons identified as responsible for the misappropriation of Ukrainian state funds or for the abuse of office causing a loss to Ukrainian public funds. |
