France, the UK and the EU: What the Future Holds

Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy and Finance, France gave a speech at the UK think tank, Chatham House, on the 6 March 2018.

Nearly a year into the Macron presidency, France’s economy minister offered his thoughts on leadership within the EU on a number of key issues such as Brexit and Eurozone reform. Looking ahead to a post-Brexit Europe, he considered the future of Franco-British cooperation and the importance of a continuing close relationship on the world stage.
