£280m EU funding could be lost

Seven local authorities in Wales - Cardiff, Flintshire, Monmouthshire, Newport, Powys, Wrexham and the Vale of Glamorgan - launched an all-party campaign on the 20 September 2010 to fight for continued EU funding under the EU's Regional Competitiveness and Employment programme (RCE) after 2013.
