The European Commission has introduced a new 'agenda planning' system in order to provide reliable programming of initiatives that it plans to adopt during the next three months. The '3-month rolling programme' is updated every month and is sent to other EU institutions in order to help them organise their own activities. In the interests of transparency, this is now being made available to the public on the Europa server. The rolling programme does not cover everything that the Commission plans to adopt. It contains legislative proposals to other EU institutions, major non-legislative acts and selected acts decided by the Commission itself that are likely to be of interest to other EU institutions. Where possible, the rolling programme includes a brief description of the Commission's initiatives as well as an indication of their political motivation, for example how individual actions relate to the Commission's political priorities and to its annual Work Programme. The rolling programme is a working document that only exists in the original version (part English and part French).
