Further information: The debates were based on the issues raised and conclusions reached in the fourth Economic and Social Cohesion report adopted by the European Commission in May 2007. The Forum was expected to provide a first assessment of the preparation for the programming period 2007-2013, based on national strategies and operational programmes submitted by member states. The fourth edition of the Cohesion Forum - held every three years - was held on 27-28 September 2007. During the event, a consultation was launched on the shape on the European Union's regional policy in the future post-2013. |
