Food and food-related health and safety issues have taken centre stage in the past decade, as people become more conscious of what they eat, how it reaches their table – from the farm to the fork – and what impact it has on their bodies. Obesity is high on the research agenda, but so is the lesser-understood food allergy problem. The EU-supported EuroPrevall project hopes to provide some answers to this problem. |
