Communication published by the European Commission on 18 November 2021, outlining the contribution of the European Union's competition policy and its review to the twin (green and digital) transitions, and to a resilient single market.

This Communication sets out the path for a progressive phase-out of the measures under the State aid Temporary Framework, accompanied by measures to encourage private investment in the aftermath of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. It also sets out the contribution of an ongoing review of the EU's competition policy and competition enforcement to the wider efforts in delivering on the green and digital transitions.
