Abstract:

The glossary of the European Union is growing at such a rate that this second edition follows the first after a gap of only two years. Its aim is to give a comprehensive overview of the development and current status of the European Union. The book offers a wide range of information on the EU from acronyms and Treaties to Member States and people who have played an important part in the formation and development of the EU. It presents some 400 pages of up-to-date information and includes over 1,000 entries to provide a complete and invaluable guide to the EU.

The work will be useful to scholars and students of European Union studies, researchers and practitioners engaged in European issues.
