AER Environment policy

Through its activities in the field of Environment, the Assembly of European Regions has a triple objective: a) to draw regions' attention on the challenges linked to climate change, b) to encourage them to mainstream environmental concerns in their policy-making processes, c) to take measures for safeguarding their natural resources, in particular water.
