2012 being the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations, Social Agenda issue 29 devotes a special feature to this event. This issue also presents key policy documents which the European Commission adopted in March 2012 on how to concretely achieve a job-rich recovery, keep pensions adequate, safe and sustainable, and anticipate and prepare company restructuring. Further subjects include an EU-funded project on how to boost inclusive entrepreneurship, a cross-border social security coordination project and the social dimension of the Europe 2020 Strategy.
