ALDE wants investigation of Le Pen’s contacts with Moscow

The Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE), a political group in the European Parliament, requested an investigation of the contacts between France's National Front with Russian authorities.

EurActiv reported it was not clear whether it was down to the French government, or to the European Parliament, to make such investigations.

In November 2014, it was reported that FN had secured a major loan from a Russian-owned bank.
