Algeria calls for united gas supply action

Article reports that Algeria, Europe’s second biggest gas supplier, is calling on fellow gas exporting countries in the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), such as Qatar and Russia, to reduce their production in order to boost prices.

The 10th Ministerial Meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum is scheduled to take place in Oran, Algeria, on 19 April 2010.
