This report, presented as part of the discharge procedure, covers audits conducted in the Commission directorates-general, services and executive agencies, and contains (i) a summary of the number and type of internal audits carried out; (ii) a synthesis of the recommendations made; and (iii) the action taken on those recommendations.
The mission of the Internal Audit Service is to enhance and protect organisational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight. The Internal Audit Service helps the Commission accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach in order to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
