Antitrust developments in Europe 2003

Abstract:

This work offers a comprehensive and practical commentary on the developments in EC and national antitrust law during 2003. The book follows the pattern of previous editions and is organised in two parts.

Part one deals with EC competition law developments and includes sections on such topics as Vertical Restraints, Intellectual Property and Licensing, Horizontal Agreements, Abuse of Market Power, Mergers and Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, State Aid and Policy and Procedure. Additional sub-headings in this edition are used to distinguish between the various types of proceedings relevant to that section. Part two deals with National Competition Developments and presents chapters on jurisdiction for thirteen countries which are further broken down into topics similar to those applied in part one.

The book will interest antitrust legal practitioners, in-house counsel, business people and others with an interest in this field.
