‘Approved’ Europeans expect Chinese tourist groups

With effect from 1 September 2004 the Chinese authorities will relax the rules on foreign visits. Many Chinese tourists are expected to visit European countries which have signed an approved destination pact, such as Belgium, Denmark and France. The UK has negotiated but not signed an approved destination pact.
