Ariane makes final launch of 2008

Europe's Ariane 5 rocket wrapped up its 2008 campaign with another dual launch from the Kourou spaceport on the 20 December 2008. The primary role for Ariane 5 is to act as the launcher of commercial telecommunications satellites.
