Ask not what the EU can do for you … Gordon Brown sees Britain as a leader not a leaver

Ex-United Kingdom Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown gave a lecture called 'Britain: leading, not leaving – the case for remaining in the European Union' at the London School of Economics on the 11 May 2016.

'Balancing the national autonomy we desire with the continental cooperation we require', was Gordon Brown’s main refrain as he made an impassioned appeal to voters ahead of the referendum on the 23 June 2016.
