A Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly delegation participated in a hearing on the restoration of the economy, social sphere as well as the human rights and civil freedoms in the Chechen republic, organised by the State Duma in Moscow on 21 September 2000. The 12-member delegation will be lead by László Surjan (Hungary, EPP/CD), Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly. |
