Somali-born Dutch politician Ayaan Hirsi Ali is to leave the Netherlands for the United States after admitting that she lied to gain asylum. Ms Ali has campaigned against radical Islam, and has been in hiding since 2004 following death threats. The affair is hugely embarrassing to the liberal VVD party, and to the Dutch Government. |
