British Airways must choose between Qantas or Iberia as its future merger partner, the chief executive of the Spanish carrier said on the 3 December 2008, adding that it would be 'too complex' to pursue both deals. This was after being informed of BA's rival secret talks with Qantas only one hour before BA's public announcement on the 2 December 2008. |
