Banned airlines lists published

France and Belgium on 29 August 2005 published separate blacklists of airlines banned from their territory on safety grounds. The creation of EU-wide blacklists of unsafe airlines was expected by the end of the year, after the European Commission had reached a deal with Member States in February 2005.
