Belgium best-poised to attract non-EU ‘brains’

In the absence of an elaborate immigration policy on a larger European level, and following the shortage of highly skilled people on the European labour market, EU Member States have begun a battle for brainpower, as they try to attract as many third country professionals as possible by adapting their immigration rules applicable to highly qualified workers. Article suggests that Belgium scores highest when it comes to speeding up legal processes to attract highly-skilled workers.
