Berlusconi gets timely boost from growth data

A rebound in the Italian economy as seen in figures published 11 August 2005, widely perceived as the eurozone's weakest link, may provide a boost for the centre-right government's effort to win re-election, although economists cautioned that the full-year outlook remained flat.
