Summary: This brochure presents an overview of the Demonstration Programme and the various projects of which it is comprised. The principle objective is thus inform the public about this programme. However, the brochure also aims to serve as the first step in raising the general awareness about the importance of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management - it is a call to all concerned to become involved. The final results of the projects will only be available in the course of 1999. However, now is the time for all those involved in integrated coastal zone management and planning to contribute their experience and their know-how to the programme, as a supplement and contribution to the individual pilot projects. |
