Blair, Chirac urge EU cash for Aids fund

The UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair, and the French President, Jacques Chirac, have written to the Greek Prime Minister, Costas Simitis, whose country holds the rotating six-month Presidency of the European Union, urging the EU to match the US contribution to a fund to tackle AIDS and other deadly diseases.
