Blue belt pilot project

Information notice for customs officials, ship owners, masters, agents and operators of ships calling at EU ports and participating in the Blue Belt pilot project.

The aim of the project, which was launched in May 2011, is to explore new ways to promote and to facilitate short sea shipping in the European Union by reducing the administrative burden for intra-Community trade.
