Bridge over troubled legal water? Legal issues of the Brexit transition period

Author discusses UK Prime Minister's Theresa May’s speech in Florence on the 22 September 2017 on the UK’s Brexit plans, which gave a rough indication of the basic legal architecture that the UK government would like to govern its relationship with the EU for a transition period after Brexit Day in 2019.

In particular, the author focuses on the rules which would apply to EU27 citizens in the UK during the transition period.
