Britain ‘more sensitive to interest rate changes’

According to a study published on 3 March 2003 by the (UK) 'No' campaign, the British economy is four times more sensitive to interest rate changes than those of other Member States. The study claims that if Britain joined the euro, its economy would become more vulnerable to downturns in confidence in the housing market.
