Britain out of line with part-time regulations

Seven million workers in the UK are to be affected by new legally enforceable reguations on part-time working that came into force on 1.7.00. However, UK government moves to comply with the EU directive on part-time work appear to fall short of what is legally required, and are likely to be challenged by the European Court during the next few years.
