Britain puts crackdown on terrorist financing at the centre of its EU Presidency

In the wake of the London bombings on 7 July 2005, European Interior Ministers held an emergency Justice and Home Affairs meeting in Brussels on 13 July 2005 to plan how to disrupt the bombers' financial and communication networks.
