British EU referendum provokes anxiety in Eastern Europe

Several media sources published features in June 2016 regarding the impact of a potential British exit of the European Union on eastern Europe.

Hungary's prime minister Vikor Orbán intervened in the referendum campaign on 19 June, publishing a message in British media urging voters to remain in the EU.
