Brussels clears way for China to pour billions into Juncker Plan

EurActiv reported on 13 April 2015 that the European Commission and China had concluded technical work allowing Beijing to start contributing with up to €10 billion under the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI).

China and the EU had set up a working group in September 2015 in order to find the best solution to channel the big sum of money that China was ready to offer. This country was the first non-EU country to announce its contribution to the plan.
