Brussels ‘failing business over cost of red tape’

The head of the (UK) Better Regulation Taskforce, David Arculus, believes that the European Commission is failing to give British businesses a chance to limit the increasing costs of 'red tape'. Mr Arculus said that the six-week consultation period for companies to consider new European Union regulations was not enough, and that 16 weeks should be allowed.
