Bulgaria to enshrine ‘debt alert mechanism’ in constitution

Dnevnik, EurActiv's partner in Bulgaria, reported that the country had become on the 23 February 2011 the first country in the EU to try to adopt internally a series of measures emulating the EU 'Competitiveness Pact' proposed by France and Germany earlier in February, including adding to the country's constitution a 'debt alert mechanism'.
