Bulgaria’s government unveiled following legislative election

Bulgaria's GERB party unveiled on 3 May 2017 the coalition government resulting from the outcome of a legislative election held in the country on 26 March.

The government's prime minister Boiko Borissov remains in the office, heading a coalition with the United Patriots (UP), which comprises three nationalist parties set to be in power for the first time.

The government was supported by the national parliament on the following day.

On 17 May, a deputy minister of the government resigned after a photo emerged of him giving a Nazi salute.
