Bull bars are set to be banned from all new cars by the European Union. Safety plans discussed in Brussels on 26 November 2001 will mean a voluntary deal with car manufacturers to ban the bars by 2005. The deal would also mean all new cars being fitted with anti-skid ABS braking systems and daytime lights by 2003. |
