Central banks and governments should consider buying corporate debt as an emergency to stop businesses going bankrupt in the recession, Ernest-Antoine Seillière, President of BusinessEurope, the European Union’s employers’ federation, said on the 16 February 2009 in BusinessEurope's regular letter to the country holding the EU Presidency outlining business priorities for the coming six months.
