Changes to accounting rules risk denting confidence, say investors

Hasty revisions to controversial accounting rules on how to value assets risk undermining investor confidence in company accounts, a group of senior investors and analysts belonging to the Corporate Reporting Users Forum - CRUF - a pan-European group of investors and analysts, has warned, October 2008. They urge the European Commission not to make further amendments to current accounting rules.
